Our window display for the past few weeks following on from Valentines Day has been to promote some of the lovely vintage bridal attire and accessories we have in store.  It’s also to mark the leap year tradition of women proposing to men on February 29th, an opportunity that presents itself only every four years….

Our window features three vintage wedding gowns, bridal shoes, veils and lingerie. Best of all? One of the dresses has the original 1965 black and white photo of the bride who wore it….

We were utterly delighted that today in store a lovely lady purchased this particular dress and matching veil, as 1965 was the year she was born, and as she was only visiting the area this week is taking the dress home overseas for her big day.

So ladies, if you have got the guts and a heart of love to propose to your loved one tomorrow, good luck! We wish you a very vintage celebration!
